Five Selected as Top Attorneys in State of Indiana

John D. Proffitt, Deborah L. Farmer and William E. Wendling, Jr., have been named by Indiana Super Lawyers magazine as top attorneys in Indiana for 2010. Only five percent of the lawyers in the state are named by Super Lawyers.  In addition, Rodney T. Sarkovics and Amy E. Higdon were selected for listing as Rising Stars, which includes the top lawyers 40 years of age and younger.  The selections for these lists are made by the research team at Super Lawyers, which is a service of the Thomson Reuters, Legal Division based in Eagan, MN.

Each year, the research team at Super Lawyers undertakes a rigorous multi-phase selection process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent evaluation of candidates by the attorney-led research staff, a peer review of candidates by practice area, and a good-standing and disciplinary check.
