Scott Smith takes reins of Hamilton County's Meals on Wheels. Community service is no stranger to Campbell Kyle Proffitt's Scott Smith. Recently, he was selected as President to head the mission of Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County which services the communities of Noblesville, Carmel, Fishers, Westfield, Arcadia, Atlanta, Cicero and Sheridan. Meals on Wheels began in April of 1975 by Mary Bray and Reverend David Garrigus of Christ United Methodist Church in Westfield. It started as a community service project delivering one meal to one client and quickly grew into more than 150 clients being served daily on 15 different routes. Smith's volunteers compassionately deliver more than 45,000 meals each year.
