STEPHENIE K. GOOKINS was admitted to the bar in Indiana in 1998. Born in Greensburg, Indiana, Ms. Gookins graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Public Affairs and received her law degree from Indiana University. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Gookins was an Associate at Holt, Fleck and Romine from 2001 - 2004, and employed at Rolls-Royce in the Contracts Department from 1998 - 2001. In addition to representing individual clients, Ms. Gookins serves as a Public Defender for Hamilton County Superior Court No. 5. Ms. Gookins is a member of the Advisory Board for Hamilton County Community Corrections. Ms. Gookins was one of four attorneys in the firm selected as a "Rising Star" by the 2009 Indiana Super Lawyers Magazine. Ms. Gookins' practice areas include criminal law, divorce, family law, civil litigation, social security disability and appellate practice.
