ANDREW M. BARKER was admitted to the bar in Indiana in 1989. Born in Indianapolis, Mr. Barker graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Finance and his law degree was obtained from Indiana University – Indianapolis. Prior to joining the firm, he served as an intern for the Marion County Prosecutor's Office where he first started participating in jury trials. Mr. Barker is one among the few attorneys in Hamilton County certified through training and trial experience to be appointed to death penalty cases. He has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation, including well over 100 jury trials in criminal defense matters ranging from operating while intoxicated cases to murder. Mr. Barker chairs the firm's Criminal Justice Practice Group and concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation, divorce, family law, personal injury, criminal law and contracts.
