Mediation Services

Finding common ground in a non-adversarial setting is one reason why so many have chosen the mediation process over the more formal and less flexible courtroom setting.

The Mediation Services offered by Campbell Kyle Proffitt are conducted in its Mediation Center located in a private area within the firm’s Carmel office. Many of our clients have found the process to be more convenient by giving them the flexibility to schedule our services at a time that best fits their busy schedules. This convenience not only reduces much of the stress normally associated with litigation but also reduces costs significantly. By having our own facility, we are able to conveniently schedule the mediation process at times which are convenient for all parties and not restricted by crowded court dockets. Additionally, many of our clients have found the privacy of our facilities to be very important and the process of mediation to be very beneficial. A comfortable setting facilitates finding common ground for discussion and encourages both sides to reach a fair settlement. With only the parties, their attorneys and a mediator present during the discussions, the mediation process and many of the terms of settlement are kept private rather than openly debated in a public courtroom. The mediation process allows the parties to be in more control during the negotiations and to seek creative settlement alternatives rather than having a judicial process imposed upon them.
